the world

These two mean the absolute world to me.

 Brother

 Sister

Sibling relationships - and 80 percent of Americans have at least one - outlast marriages, survive the death of parents, resurface after quarrels that would sink any friendship.  They flourish in a thousand incarnations of closeness and distance, warmth, loyalty and distrust.

Happy Weekend, dear readers!

Aww siblings are the best! I have three sisters, and they are my best buddies. Love the quote :)

My siblings mean the world to me, too. This post reminds me of that line from the song "Everybody's Free to Wear Sunscreen" (as a teen I thought it was a stupid song but now it brings me to tears every time I hear it):

Be nice to your siblings; they are the best link to your past and the
people most likely to stick with you in the future.

you're absolutely right! I can't imagine my life without mine- and I'm so thrilled they see my fiance as their new "brother"! I'm grounded by them each and everyday, and laugh the hardest when I'm with them!
